While I was remodelling the basement tonight, I had TBS on...... They were playing some movie... I have no idea what the movie was called.....
Anyway... there was a line that jumped out at me while I was listening :

I'm a Dad, I have 3 incredible kids that live with their mom... if I were to have one priority in my life apart from God, it would be my kids! Some of my other interests include Southern Gospel Music, playing tuba, watching Hockey ( GO HABS GO ! ) ... and the Discovery Network!! I could live without the comedy network, but I don't know how I'd cope without the DISCOVERY NETWORK!!!

I think this is a pretty accurate quote from what I see in my house.Letting go is very hard and that applies to all our kids but I think esp with Dads and their daughters.
One thing to remember, though...and this part of the saying is TRUE:
"...a daughter's a daughter all of her life."
