Dinner in the Sky....THIS is SOOOOO cool

I saw this today on The Daily Planet show.....

A European company came out with this....

Dinner in the Sky

it's a 22 seat banquet table that is hoisted 167 feet in the air.... $8000 for 8 hours..... PLUS the cost of the food.... and music if required....

My first reaction was... 8 hours in the air??? HOW DO YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM???

you talk to your waiter... ( just like in any restaurant ) and they take the entire table back to the ground..... it takes less than 60 seconds though.... so that's ok I guess.... still, it's not like you could be DISCREET!!!!

anyway.. it's pretty cool !

What happens if you drop any food?
I guess this is one of these "Once in a liftime things"
...if you try it out and like it.....you can't take your friend to it, like you can a restaurant.
They are missing one thing.....a TV
oh...what is the cost of that?

The last thing you need is a tv! Enjoy the view, company around you, and the food and drink served. I did this in Canada, got to be one of the best new ideas to come around in a long time!

I was wondering the same thing. What if you drop some food? And if you spill your water...onto traffic below...will they push you out?

To be that high up, I'd want to be on extra special good terms with the people on either side of me!!!

It looks kinda cool with the sunset and everything...maybe a good test for a first date??! You'd never catch me up there.

It would be fun to be up there with your head in the clouds - literally!

I don't know about the "first date" idea...what if they didn't like each other? That's a long way down if you get dumped!!!
