Construction.....
I drove from Madoc to Norwood on Highway 7 yesterday..... it was SOOOO frustrating.... It was down to 1 lane, THREE times in that stretch of highway......
one of them ( going up the hill in Marmora ) was a full 9 minute wait.... it was about a 4 km section of highway, down to one lane.... and it took for ever to clear the East bound traffic..
The traffic was lined up right back through the intersection in marmora..... bet the merchants were LOVING the construction....
I nearly fell asleep waiting.... finally got going and headed to Norwood.....
and being warned in a dream, I returned home another way.... .jpg)

Don't you just love "construction season"??? NOT!
Tooooooo funny!!! You haven't seen construction until you live in Montreal for a few years...because if you were here one year you'd think it was just time to repair the road THAT year, but when they tear up the SAME road the following year....! On St. Laurent's blvd. here, a very busy street full of shops, restaurants, bars/clubs, etc, they tore up the road last year and then decided that this year they needed to replace the pipes...um, like, couldn't they have done that last year while the road was under construction, maybe??! I just love my city.....
