if you watched Daily Planet tonight, you will have seen this: It's called THRUSTPAC : In essence, it is a jet pack that you wear on your back ( it'd be like wearing a leaf blower on your back ).....
This thing propels you.... if you're in a canoe...or on roller blades... or on a bike.....
it's a little gas powered motor, that straps onto your back.... when you're on a bike, you get 111 miles per gallon....!!
which bumps up to over 200 mpg if you help peddle!!!!

It would certainly be handy when you wanted to get from point A to point B - IN A HURRY!!!
Somehow, I just can't imagine you having one of those strapped to your back - going from inspection to inspection. It would be funny, though.
