Abby's soccer tournament
Well .... Friday all day was Abby's soccer tournament.... I had a great day....watching, teasing, and making refreshment runs to Wendy's restaurant....
Abby did really well, she's the goalie... and she only let in 2 goals in 4 games.... they only scored 3 goals though, in 4 games..... tied two, lost one, and won one.... 5 points in all and they came 3rd in their pool..... I think they were a little disappointed but it was fun, and they DID win the trophy for good sportmanship!!
Taylor and a couple of his friends, and Anna and a couple of her friends got to run the flags on the line for the day..... taylor officated 12 games.... by the time he was done, he was wondering if maybe it WAS worth a day off school!!
Great day... way to play Abby!

FYI, not sure if Brantford/Paris has the same system as Guelph, but my 13-year old was an official referee this summer (when she had spare time, which was VERY limited of course) and was paid $15/hour. I would imagine Taylor wouldn't mind the day off if he was getting that kind of coin!!
