DOH...... I'm such a hillbilly

so I was inspecting in a little town called Garden Hill.... between Elizabethville and Campbellcroft ( and to be honest, before this spring, I didn't know where ANY of those places were!! )

anyway.... I get to the door... and I knock...

the lady comes to the door.... and she isn't ALL that excited to see me..

I find it sooo tiring to have to "sell" why I'm there...to go through all the explaining, and make them comfortable enough to give me the information I need... it's exhausting....

Usually if I can get them to laugh or at least chuckle, they lighten up enough to cooperate...

but not on this day...

I start into my schpeel ( is that even a word? )

hi, i'm from the insurance company... yada yada... we sent you a letter.. yada yada..

I'm the stranger they warned you about in the letter.....

and I look up....

nothing.... no smirk....no twinkle... no chuckle... no response... nothing

didja GET the letter lady??? ( ok, i didn't say it like that but I FELT like it )

yes, I think we got a letter....

ok then... lets begin!

so I start rattling through my list of questions...

how old's the house? how many bathrooms? Plumbing pipes are copper???

How's the house heated? any auxiliary?

and I get to the bottom of my page...

and I have only two quesitons left....

any dogs? ( cause rotty's hiding in the back yard do NOT bring joy to my soul )

and any swimming pools?

so I ask the questions...
