Hockey Night in Montreal
.....Since Montreal is in Quebec, it's questionnable if you can call it Hockey Night in Canada, at least for tonight! LOL!
So.... for the next two games ( tonight and Saturday ) , Toronto is visiting Montreal ... the city where I was born...
So much for getting any paperwork done TONIGHT!
My buddy Steve, that I work with, is a staunch Toronto fan... I hope he still loves me tomorrow if Montreal wins!!

It pains me to say it, but yes, the Canadiens won the game by a 5-1 margin.
Better luck next time (Saturday's rematch) for the Leafs!!!
hey anonymous...keep in mind that before last nights game, 11 of the last 15 games were won by the Leafs....
after growing up in Montreal's Dynasty years in the 70's and 80's, it has been hard to see them flounder like this...
so I'm gloating today...! tomorrow night, things may be ugly again!
Well Paul, it's like this...I also grew up in the Montreal Dynasty years...I remember Montreal winning the Cup - year after year...it was almost a given at the start of the season!
For that reason, I can appreciate that it has been hard for you to watch your team flounder. No one likes to see that happen. However, at least you have the "glory years" to remember...the team I cheer for has only won the Cup ONCE in my entire lifetime (and I was far too young to appreciate it). Just once, I'd like the Leafs to "go all the way"!
With that in mind...
