I really appreciate them! <BR/><BR/>Just so everyone here knows, he was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer in November which had spread to his ankle (where all the pain is), liver, lung, and other parts. He had 6 wks of chemo and just finished 5 treatments of radiation. He's also on a lot of immune-building supplements, and most importantly, covered by faith in prayer.<BR/><BR/>Love and Prayers,<BR/>LPPhebrews 11:1noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19231343.post-22450308539462338692008-04-30T21:08:00.000-04:002008-04-30T21:08:00.000-04:00Dearest Mr. Mackay,<BR/><BR/>Tears are streaming down my face...I think they must have started when I read about your bad day and then saw that familiar envelope...I came on here to see what was new (in between periods naturally, and even more so because my dad gave me a treat and let me watch the second period and the third is optional). <BR/><BR/>I don't know how we got the idea, but it was a fun one for sure when four of us first came up with sending you those cups...and that patch-- we were walking to my grandparents' and we saw a glove on the street with it. We walked on and then we said, "Hey, suppose we take that home and cut that out, we can stick it on something, and be a little cool!" We walked on anyway. Several of us passed it several times in a hurry until finally my little brother and I picked it up, wrapped it in a bag and brought the dirty, dripping wet thing home. I cut it out and washed it under my sister's finicky eye, as she told me to scrub it as clean as possible. I wasn't sure if you'd be too impressed with it, but we thought we'd try :) <BR/><BR/>Thank you for your encouragement, because you have blessed and encouraged us a lot, and wait until I show my siblings this post! In all honesty, my littlest sister and my parents have no idea...not about our blog-visiting habits here and not about our package. We've dropped off gift bags at neighbor's home without anyone ever knolwing so this one's the same to us.<BR/><BR/>Thank you for your prayers for my dad. He is in a lot pain now, and can use all the prayer. He is starting a new very strong painkiller tonight, and I hope he won't have to take it for long.<BR/><BR/>I'm going to go watch the game as I count and band versecards we make and sell...I have to work while I watch ;) I am glad the versecards we enclosed (we didn't make those) encouraged you. I forgot I put in Never Quit...that was God for sure!
